QilinGong Techniques

  • Warm-up and flexibility exercises – a series of stretching exercises aiming to warm-up the articulations, enhance the flexibility of the spine and prepare the body for the practice of the actual techniques. 
  • Collecting Qi – a method for collecting the energy using the hand and then storing it into the lower abdominal area.
  • The worm movement – an exercise for collecting energy within six levels of the body combined with a wavy movement of the entire spine.
  • The palm that rises to emit energy –  an exercise that develops the stability of the body and enhances the capacity of emitting energy through the palms.
  • The Zhuang of the sword fingers – a static posture combined with a specific breathing pattern for balancing the Yin and Yang energies and increasing the tonus and vitality of the body.
  • Raising kidneys – a method that will reinvigorate the kidneys and the uro-genital system by contracting and relaxing the pelvic muscles.
  • Body breathing – a breathing method combined with mental activity in order to accumulate energy.
  • Walking qigong – a method for collecting energy while walking, using the body breathing technique.
  • Running qigong – a method for collecting energy while running, using the body breathing technique.
  • Sleeping qigong – a method for collecting energy while sleeping, using the body breathing technique.
  • The magic palm – emitting energy through the palms for healing purposes.
  • The immortal’s hand brings back the spring – method for removing the pathogenic energy from the body.
  • La Qi Fa – a method for handling and storing the energy in the lower abdominal area.
  • The Small Heaven Circuit – a meditation method for circulating and refining the internal energy.
  • Cultivating Qi– a meditation method for increasing the internal energy and healing.
  • Ba Dua Jin (The eight pieces of silk brocade) – an eight-part exercise that will stimulate the the flow of the energy through the meridians.
  • Yi Jin Jing (The transformation of the tendons) –  a set of twelve exercises meant to enhance the flow of the energy through the meridians, the flexibility of the tendons and ligaments and to strengthen the bones.
  • The Internal Alchemy – a Daoist method for prolonging life.
